IBPS is the acronym for Institute of banking personnel selection. This is the conducting body which recruits candidates for banking sector for different public sector banks. The IBPS is responsible for IBPS recruitment common written exam and all the interviews conduction. The IBPS PO exam would be conducted in three phases that are the Preliminary exam, Mains exam and interview round. 

The candidates would appear for all the three phases in order to get recruited for the IBPS post. IBPS PO cut off is the minimum marks decided by the conducting body for qualification. The candidate should score at least cutoff marks in each section so as to qualify. If in case a candidate is not able to secure the cut offs, then he/she would not be able to appear for next level. Some marks decide the future of the candidate.

IBPS PO Sectional Cut off is the minimum marks which a candidate should secure so as to qualify for the next level. It is based on the sectional concept that is there are different cutoffs for different sections of a particular exam. IBPS PO Overall Cutoff is the minimum marks which is required for a candidate to qualify for the next level. The overall cut-offs are based on the collaborative concept. It means the candidate should secure the cutoffs in sections and then collaborating the sectional marks it should be more than the cutoffs decided for a particular exam. 

It would be different for different category candidates but it would be collaborative for each phase like for preliminary it would be different and for mains, it would be different. These cutoffs vary according to the state and as per categories. The IBPS PO cut off for general category candidates and reserved category candidates have different cut offs. Also, the state-wise cut-offs also vary as per the guidelines by IBPS. The cut off for IBPS PO 2017 is not revealed yet.

The expectations could be reached at by checking and considering the previous year's cutoffs. IBPS has released the notifications for dates by when the cutoffs would be revealed to the candidates. The cut-offs dates are as follow: The Cut off for IBPS PO 2017 preliminary exam would be disclosed in October 2017. The cut off for IBPS PO 2017 mains examination would be declared in December 2017. The cutoff for Interview would be revealed in April 2018 and for allotment cut off also candidate need to check in April 2018.
